My Story In My Words

I was introduced to Karuna Reiki and Psychic Surgery by Dr Uday Shah and his team of Sai Karuna Mission some months back. I am a follower of Shirdi Sai Baba and in the free seminar of SKM when I got to know that these 9 symbols which are there in Karuna Reiki have been given by Baba, I was elated. This knowledge made me want to learn Karuna Reiki and I learnt it too with full faith and belief. Here I would like to mention that I had no prior knowledge about Reiki nor have I done any other Reiki level before learning Karuna Reiki!!

     I started practicing as was instructed and felt so much of energy within few days of starting it,  and some pains too in the body vanished making me feel blessed. I was so happy and full of energy that I wanted all my friends and family members to learn it too. (It's another story that I got very upset and fought with them if they refused to learn :)

   Within a month of practicing the following are the things I observed in myself. I started fighting with my family, friends and colleagues. I hurt them and had no remorse about it. I felt like just cutting away from them and became very aggressive with them and felt that they just don't understand me. I was on my own trip literally as I was willing to even leave my family and my job and go on the path of service and spirituality!! (Little of this is good but I had become too much ....after all I had my responsibilities :)

    When life got very bitter at home and work, and my marriage was on the rocks.... I decided to look up on the net to find out if there was anyone else out there too who is going through what I am...as some comments like "you have become very negative after learning this"(I thought I had become very positive ) started to make me feel that I need to find out if something was wrong with ME or EVERYONE else or if  any other SKM students too are going through this.... and thus started my Quest!!

Unfortunately I could not find any conclusive or definite answers (Google let me down on that one :) that I was looking for (that explains this blog) but I managed to put my life back in order!! Therefore I request if anyone else reading this has gone through similar feelings, or knows someone going through it... please share it here, as well as any other information that would be relevant, so that it will not only let me know whether I was alone in this experience, but would help the others too who read this and maybe are going through similar feelings or experiences in life searching for answers.

 Following are the things I found out in my Quest which made me think logically and thus enabled me to get back my family....my friends and my job !!

 

1. I got to know from Reiki.Org (2nd question in this link)  http://www.reiki.org/reikinews/rn970103.html that to learn Karuna Reiki you need to be a Reiki Master. When I spoke with a Usai Reiki master I learnt that there are 3 levels in Reiki and the 3rd level is master level. Each level gives you some amount of energy and requires some days of practice before you can to go onto the next level( so that a person gets used to handling that amount of energy during and after attunement without any problem.) So I wonder what effect would Karuna Reiki have on a  non reiki person??

2. Now I still continued practicing with the belief that since it's Sai Babas (as I was told that) nothing can be wrong with it. (Though the website said that it was founded by William Rand) It so happened that an uncle of mine who is a big devotee of Sai Baba got to know of my family problems and spoke to me. When I told him that I am practicing symbols given by Baba and I have faith that things will get alright soon, he told me that he has never heard of these symbols. Still he said that he knows someone in the Shirdi Trust Board and will find out from them. As promised he found out from his friend, who is a Trustee there and closely related to Lakshmi Bai Shinde (who was an ardent devotee of Baba, and, to who he gave the 9 coins) and he said that he is not aware of any such symbols and that, if Baba had given these or even drawn them anywhere it would have got recorded as all of his miracles and every little teaching of his have been duly noted in Sai Satcharita and so many journals of devotees. It is impossible for noone to have mentioned or noted or noticed these symbols. If no one else at least Lakshmi Bai would have spoken about it in immediate family, and it would have got passed down in generations, but he has never heard or seen these symbols in his life!!

It's been almost a month that I have stopped practicing and all I can say is that I am feeling like things are getting back to normal slowly (including all the pains), as it was before. My relationship with all has improved. I have got my family life back and I am no longer irritated or fighting with people. I am becoming NORMAL !!

Last but not the least my faith in Baba has increased manifold as I feel it was he who put all the facts in front of me and showed me this direction, of not only getting back my normal life but of helping others (incase they benefit from this article). I would request people to start their individual quests and would be only too happy if anyone can prove that these symbols have been given by Baba.

 I also got to know during my Quest that one should not fool with these cosmic energies as they are very powerful. I don't know whether I am right or wrong in this conclusion of my practising this as the cause of my state, or in having written this article... so I ask forgiveness in all my humility, if I am wrong, from all the energies, as this article has been written with good intentions only !!!
